Echitatia e un sport care se practica destul de putin in romania, cel putin la nivel de performanta. Insa pentru distractie, sportul acesta numit echitatie sau calarit, se gasesc locatii diverse prin tara. Destul de putine insa prin vest, tinand cont ca in afara de Arsenal Park si o Scoala de echitatie Covaci nu prea gasesti nimic.
Daca vrei pentru distractie, Arsenal Parkul il gasesti langa orastie, langa fosta baza militara. Intreaba oamenii de prin zona, sigur de vor ghida catre locul cel bun.
In Timisoara nu stiu sigur unde este scoala de echitatie Covaci, dar acolo nu poti merge doar pentru fun, pentru ca acolo cursurile sunt destul de scumpe pentru ca se face la cu totul si cu totul alt nivel fata de distractie.
Daca te intereseaza, doar poti sa le dai o vizita.

Miercurea Ciuc
Miercurea Ciuc (Hungarian: Csíkszereda, German: Szeklerburg) is the county seat of Harghita county, Romania, in the Transylvania historical region. 3 villages are administratively part of the county seat:
* Ciba (Hungarian: Csiba)
* Harghita-Băi (Hungarian: Hargitafürdő)
* Jigodin-Băi (Hungarian: Zsögödfürdő)
Miercurea-Ciuc is the seat of Harghita county. The city lies in the east of the county in the Olt valley. Since it was founded until 1918, Csíkszereda was the capital of Csík County in the Kingdom of Hungary. Between 1927 and 1938 it changed its name to the Romanian version and was the capital of Ciuc County in the Kingdom of Romania.
The city was given once again to Romania at the end of the Second World War after Hungary restored its sovereignty over it between 1940-1944. It has since then known a significant increase in its industry. In the 1960s a beer factory was built here, Ciuc Beer. Its products have gained an increasing popularity in Romania.
After Miercurea-Ciuc became the county seat of Harghita in 1968, a new socialist style city centre was constructed; the city thereafter began to develop into a major centre of Székely culture and identity. In 2001 the old Harghita Hotel was converted into the Sapientia Transylvanian Hungarian University, which, although privately run, is the first Hungarian university in modern Romania. Other cities in Transylvania also have Sapientia University faculties. Since the university opened it has been attracting growing numbers of young people and intellectuals.
Miercurea-Ciuc is one of the coldest cities in Romania, with winter temperatures often going under -30°C, making the city ideal for winter sports. The Miercurea-Ciuc ice rink, Vákár Lajos műjégpálya, annually hosts the national ice hockey championships, often won by the local team, Csíkszeredai Sport Club. In 2006 the ice rink hosted the world junior championship in short track speed skating. The only long track speed skating rink in Romania is situated next to the indoor ice hockey rink. Another source of pride in the city is the famous Ciuc beer (also known as Csíki sör), considered by some to be the best beer in Romania.
Petőfi Street is the main pedestrian street in the city. It has a young feel thanks to the student presence, and houses many trendy restaurants and fashionable cafés. Their Székely specialities conjure up images of a small city in Western Europe.
In the city centre, the main point of interest is the Mikó Castle, built in a late Renaissance style. The original more decorative castle was raised in the 17th century on the orders of Ferenc Mikó Hídvégi, the personal advisor of Gabriel Bethlen, the prince of Transylvania at the time. Much of the castle was destroyed in 1661 during the Tatar raids, but it was rebuilt at the beginning of the 18th century and was mainly used as a barracks; today it houses the Csík Székely Museum. Behind the castle you will find a small Skanzen (museum village), consisting of a few traditional Csíki houses and wooden gates. Across the road from the castle is the city hall built in 1886, originally the county hall of the old Hungarian crown county. Beside the castle is the 1904 Courthouse. The latest significant addition to the architectural landscape is the controversial 2001 Millennium Templom, designed by Hungarian architect Imre Makovecz and located next to the Baroque Church of the Holy Cross.
A few kilometres to the east of the city centre is the Csíksomlyó church. A large meadow nearby has been the site of a yearly Roman Catholic pilgrimage since the 16th century. The event attracts several hundred thousand people every year and is held on Whit Saturday in June. It is called the "Csíksomlyó Pilgrimage" (Hungarian: Csíksomlyói Búcsú). This traditional gathering is attended by Székely and Csángó Hungarians living in the region, also by a great number of (mostly Hungarian) Catholics from other parts of Transylvania, from Hungary and all over the world.
I traveled there recently and I must say that I was a little bit impressed, even though i didn't hear to much romanian language around. They have a lot of mineral water ( borhot ) around, it's a good region there. The only disadvantages are that in the winter is extremely cold and you can't speak english there because there aren't to many people that could understand this language.
I stayed there for about 6 hours, so I've done a lot of things. And listening a lot of music like DJ Tiesto – Power Mix, 50 Cent – Flight 187, Madonna – The power of Goodbye.
Anyway, after some hours spent there, I was satisfied. This is a good location to visit.

Excursii pentru Golf
Daca esti pasionat de golf, dar si de o vacanta undeva la malul marii, inseamna ca trebuie sa ajungi prin Scotia unde m-ai nou sunt case de vacanta cu teren de golf si masinute incluse in pret. Mergi la aer curat si poti juca si golf. Reteta perfecta pentru un pasionat de golf.
Daca vrei sa incepi sa joci golf in timpul vacantei, nu e o problema. Sunt destule locuri amenajate special pentru a te antrena intr-ale golfului cu plase pentru mingi, asa zisele "practice net", care sunt de ajutor pentru orice rookie in acest sport, pentru a isi testa tinta.
Unde puteti gasi asa ceva ? La Perthshire, in Scotia, chiar langa marele traseu de golf numit Kings Golf Course.

Cebza Monastery

About the time when the church was built the monastery, situated in the middle of today's parish cemetery and about the monks who vietu here not know too much. Densus Church, Hunedoara
The Densuş Church in the village of Densuş, Hunedoara County, Romania is one of the oldest Romanian churches still standing.
It was built in the 13th century on the site of a 2nd century Roman temple, with some materials from the Dacian Sarmizegetusa fortress. It has a stone tower above the naos. Inside the church there are 15th century mural paintings that show Jesus wearing Romanian traditional clothes.
Is also one of the appriciated monuments in Europe, because of his age and his structure.

Ceala Forest, Arad
Ceala forest is situated 2 km away from Arad and have a surface of 1560 square kilometres. This place is prefered by the most peoples from Arad for weekends. Here are a lots of tourism locations as Moltaret lake and Mures Isle, situated on the south side of the forest. On this Isle situated on Mures there are a lots of vacation houses and cabans.
Also, recently, the road from Arad to this forest had been modified, the officials from Arad made a good road through this forest.

Retezat Mountains
Because I stay in the area, i must say something about Retezat mountains. There are a part of UNESCO protected parks, one of the beautifull places in Romania. You can also check this video for some images:

The Retezat Mountains are one of the highest massifs in Romania, being part of the Southern Carpathians. The highest peak is Peleaga (Vârful Peleaga), at an altitude of 2509 metres. Other important peaks are Păpuşa (Varful Păpuşa) and Retezat Peak (Vârful Retezat).
The Retezat Mountains have many glacial lakes, including the largest glacial lake in Romania, Bucura Lake (lacul Bucura), which covers 8.9 ha and is situated at an altitude of 2030 metres. The area also contains the Retezat National Park, Romania's first national park.
